Loss adjusters for the policyholder
Further Expansion at Claim Experts
Chartered adjusters Claim Experts, who only work for the policyholder, announce the appointment of Georgina Powditch as an adjuster. Georgina joins from Davies Group.
Although an in-house adjuster, Georgina is also out in the field to gain on-the-job experience as part of Claim Experts’ professional development programme for staff, alongside seeking her CILA formal qualification.
Georgina’s appointment follows that of adjuster and surveyor Malcolm Bradley who manages claims as an adjuster in the East of England. and carries out surveying work for the company.
Claim Experts Director, Richard Hanson-James, comments:
“We’re delighted to welcome Georgina on board as part of our expansion programme and we plan to take on more trainee adjusters like her.
“The recent appointments of Georgina and Malcolm reflect the growth we are experiencing in fighting the policyholder’s corner on the more complex and difficult claims and the increasing trend of reliance on technical wordings rather than the spirit of insurance.”
Georgina adds:
“Having worked in insurance claims for almost eight years, I have always believed that, as well as strong technical knowledge, customer service and empathy are also essential when dealing with the policyholder who is, after all, under a great deal of stress at that time. Joining Claim Experts has opened my eyes to real customer service and made me realise that the claimant often needs truly independent technical advice.”
Both appointments are additional roles created to meet the demands of Claim Experts’ expanding business.
