Loss adjusters for the policyholder
David Pallant
My role
Based in Norwich, I share responsibility for handling all classes of claims for clients in the East of England.
Experience
I had thirteen years in insurers’ claims offices and moved into loss adjusting in 1978. In 1990 I formed my own loss adjusting practice with my co-director, Peter Garnham. In 2004 we elected to work exclusively for policyholders.
Other industry activities
I have been a full and active supporter of the local and national professional insurance and adjusting institutes throughout my career.
Outside the office
I have a passion for white water rafting, bungee jumping and swimming with sharks (all kindled on the loss adjusters’ training ground) but until they reduce the insurance premiums I have to be content with badminton, tennis, fishing and fell-walking when home and family time and my activities as a Rotarian permit.
