My role
Based in County Durham, I am the case handler for all of our work in the Northeast and adjoining areas. I deal with all classes, mainly property and business interruption but with a sprinkling of other work as well.
Experience
I spent most of my adjusting career (which I entered from a broking background) as a property and business interruption adjuster across the whole range of industry and public sectors. I got my experience in the major adjusting houses handling insurer-instructed losses, but find the change to working for the policyholder at Claim Experts Ltd refreshing and challenging.
Other industry activities
With my move back to my native Geordieland I hope to get much more involved in local adjusting and insurance activities, having always been a keen supporter at national and local level.
Outside the office
My summer passion is cricket: I play for a local club and am involved in running several teams. Much of my leisure is spent exercising myself and the daft family Dalmatian, who seems to demand more of my time than the rest of the family put together. I am also a Magpies fan and get to St James’ Park when I can.
