Long after the event, we were asked to advise on a workshop fire claim where a claim settlement offer hadn’t been properly explained. Using our forensic skills and insurance knowledge, we established that the insurance company loss adjuster had misinterpreted the policy, and we were able to double the original offer. Without this much improved settlement, this business would have collapsed.
